THE DIWAN

The Diwan of the Shaykh and Gnostic of Allah Sayyidi Muhammad ibn al-Habib al-Amghari al-Idrisi al-Hasani, (1290/1871 – 1391/1972), is a masterful transmission of the essential teachings of the tasawwuf based squarely on the Book and the Sunnah, in a clear and accessible classical Arabic, and in this edition accompanied by an uncluttered English translation. This edition contains, in addition to the Wird and Qasidas, a preface by Shaykh Murtada al-Boumas-houli, the introduction of Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Habib as well as his mighty Hafidha, and a large number of takhmisat commentaries on different qasidas written by him and by his murals. This edition has 484 pages.
